The Complete Guide to Getting Started with Sitepresso

Everything you need to know to go from account creation to a fully live, client-ready website on your own domain.

Before You Start

Have the following ready before you create your account:

  • Your business name and tagline
  • A logo (PNG or SVG, or we'll use a text version until you have one)
  • Your services with names, descriptions, durations, and prices
  • A domain name (or use the included Sitepresso subdomain to start)

Step 1: Create Your Account

Go to sitepresso.com and click "Start now." Create your account, choose a paid plan, and complete the secure checkout. If the selected plan includes a trial, checkout shows the trial duration before you confirm.

Step 2: Choose Your Vertical

Appointment: If your business runs on bookable time slots — coaching, consulting, healthcare, fitness, beauty

Ecommerce: If you sell physical or digital products online

Static: If you need a professional marketing page without transactional features

Step 3: Choose Your Industry Theme

Select the theme closest to your industry. The content, section order, and design are pre-configured for your vertical. You can customise colours, fonts, and content — but the structure is already right.

Step 4: Add Your Business Details

Enter your business name, tagline, contact details, address, and opening hours. These appear throughout your site automatically.

Step 5: Add Services or Products

For Appointment: add each service with name, description, duration, price, and which staff can deliver it.

For Ecommerce: add each product with name, description, photos, price, and stock level.

Step 6: Configure Payments

Connect your Stripe account to take online payments. This takes 10 minutes and is required for the booking flow to collect deposits or full payment.

Step 7: Set Up Your Domain

Use a free [yourbusiness].sitepresso.com subdomain to start, or connect your own domain. Custom domain connection takes about 5 minutes and requires updating two DNS records with your domain registrar.

Step 8: Go Live

Click "Publish." Your website is now live and accessible. Test the booking flow end-to-end — book a test appointment and confirm the confirmation email arrives correctly.

Step 9: Tell People

Add your website URL to your Google Business Profile, social media bios, email signature, and business cards. Announce the launch to your email list or existing clients. The website is live; now drive traffic to it.
